Welcome to the website for analysis and explanation. Instead of placing bets the bookmakers want to see I have identified opportunities where the odds are no longer loaded in their favour.
The aim of this site is to offer background into the mechanics of betting and to provide punters with additional useful information to give those bookies a run for their money.
It explains how the bookmakers make their profits ( Odds Betting and Spread Betting ) and gives the necessary details on how to compile a fair set of betting prices (What’s the SP and Table of Odds).
There is an area dedicated to highlighting which bookmakers offer a genuinely decent service and which try to pick our pockets without offering a reasonable opportunity to win. This takes the form of a league table (Bookmakers Table) with wins awarded for innovative, inspirational offers and losses given for downright poor value.
There is regular comment called Discussion, Analysis, Prices, which remarks on events of interest and provides consideration as to why some bets are worth making and why others should be given a wide berth.
